Can I set up decorations on the yacht or boat?
Yes, you can set up decorations on the boats. Decorating a boat can add a personal touch and make it feel more inviting, whether you’re preparing for an corporate event, a birthday party, a holiday, or just want to enhance the boat’s look. Here are a few ideas for boat decorations:
- Balloon Decorations: Create an balloon arch at the entrance to your boat or around the deck area. You can use nautical-themed colors like navy blue, white, and gold, or opt for a vibrant, multi-colored arch.
-
Outdoor Cushions and Throws: Comfortable cushions and throws can add color and coziness to seating areas. Make sure they’re made of outdoor fabric to withstand water exposure.
-
String Lights: Waterproof string lights or fairy lights can create a charming ambiance, especially in the evening.
-
Boat Flags or Banners: Add some personality with fun flags or nautical-themed banners.
-
Flowers or Greenery: Use potted plants or hanging planters to bring a touch of nature to your boat. Be mindful of saltwater exposure, as it can damage plants.
-
Nautical Accents: Decorate with anchors, ropes, lanterns, or marine-inspired items. These will give a classic coastal feel.
-
Custom Boat Name Decals: Personalise your boat with a custom name decal or graphic for a unique touch.
-
Table Settings for Dining Areas: If your boat has a dining area, set it up with tablecloths, plates, and glasses suited for outdoor use.
-
Themed Decorations: If you’re celebrating something special, like a holiday or event, you can go all out with themed decorations, such as seashells, beach towels, or tiki lanterns.
Keep in mind that the decorations should be lightweight, durable, and able to withstand wind and water. You’ll also want to avoid anything that might interfere with the boat’s operation or safety.
Do you have a specific event or theme in mind for your boat decorations? We can also assist you with organising the decorations with our professional decorator and florist.
Can I bring a DJ onboard?
Yes, you can bring a DJ on a yacht or boat. Many people hire DJs for private boat parties, events, or celebrations on boats. DJ needs to bring their own equipment and set up onboard prior to the event. The DJ deck can be connected to the sound system on the boat to play music.Â
We can also organise a professional DJ for your private yacht event. You can provide your own music list with the DJ to play onboard, or you can let the DJ know your event theme and preference, our DJ will customise a music list for your boat party.
